June Jo Lee and I have a new book–Kimchi Taco Time–illustrated by Hayelin Choi. It is about Friday night taco time, family ties to food, and trying a new taste. We are very excited about it.
And I am excited to be sharing this book at Sidekick Books on Sunday afternoon, October 25, at 1:00. We’ll be talking about tacos and grandmas (there is a grandma in this book), and foods we want to try–or not. The book received a starred review from School Library Journal:
